 Reflective Writing (The Show Graduate Showcase) (6/10/2024)

Taylors' and The Design School organised an event for the graduates' showcase, The Show. There was also a mural competition for students to participate in. My friend and I decided to join the competition as a learning and experience and to gain exposure.

The theme for the mural competition was "Unity through Diversity", so we decided to create a mural inspired by Pablo Picasso's art style. Our vision for this theme was to depict individuals of different races and ethnicities to emphasize unity through diversity.

Furthermore, my friends and I had a lot of fun working together as a group to create the mural. Although there were some flaws in the artwork, it was a valuable and rewarding experience for all of us. Personally, participating in this competition was a great decision made as I gain lots of experience.
